HAPPY DAYS
by Samuel Beckett
Starring Monica Horan
A collaboration with Níl Dabht Productions.
May 16 - June 8

Samuel Beckett’s groundbreaking play is as fresh today as when it debuted in 1961. Stranded in a mysterious landscape, the ineffable Winnie and her taciturn husband, Willie, navigate a progressively more unrecognizable world. Anchored by Monica Horan’s tour-de-force performance as Winnie, this production brings to vivid life the humor, despair, and unexpected grace of Beckett’s transcendent work.

This production has been selected as part of the 9th Annual Conference of the Samuel Beckett Society: Beckett and Justice, hosted by Cal State LA from June 6-8, 2024. Partnering with Cal State LA is the Division of Humanities at UCLA, Cornell University, Bloomsbury Press, Independent Shakespeare Co., Nil Dabht Productions, and the Consulate General of Ireland Los Angeles. For more information on the conference, go to www.beckettandjustice.com
