Serve on the David Nord Award Committee
We are looking for LGBTQIA+ identifying alumni to serve on the David Nord Review Proposal Committee. Appointments will last for each award cycle with options to renew for the following year. There is an expectation individuals participating on the committee will make their way to Whitman during the Fall Semester to attend the community presentation and reception dinner. Harper Joy Theatre presents Kissing the Witch
Harper Joy Theatre’s production of Kissing the Witch by Emma Donoghue, directed by Dr. Laura Hope, is coming up on March 2 - 5, 2023.
Adapted from her book of thirteen revisionist fairy tales of the same name, this play interweaves four classic plots - Beauty and the Beast, Donkeyskin, the Goose Girl, and the Little Mermaid.

Serve on the Lavender Celebration Planning Committee
The office for LGBTQIA+ Student Services is looking for LGBTQ+ identifying individuals interested in serving on the Lavender Celebration Planning committee. Your membership on the committee will include support in selecting our keynote speaker, distributing information regarding details of Lavender graduation, the planning process of the ceremony, and additional tasks as needed.
