 November 28  Advent Service
7:30 p.m. Mon. | Yeilding Chapel | Join Religious Life as we celebrate the upcoming holiday season with Christmas hymns and scripture reading. All are invited, and snacks will be provided afterwards! 

 November 28  Percentage Night at Taco Mama for Active Minds
5-9 p.m. Mon. | 1014 Oxmoor Rd., Homewood | Mention BSC at check-out and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Active Minds student organization.

 November 29  Giving Tuesday
All day Tuesday | Online | The BSC Young Alumni Council will raise funds for a scholarship for a deserving and hardworking student who is the first in their family to attend college. Help the YAC by sharing social media posts throughout the day or, if you are able, make a gift here.

 November 30  SGA Holiday Party
5-7:30 p.m. Wed. | Bruno Great Hall | Join SGA for its annual Holiday Party! Enjoy an evening of food, cookie decorating, music, a gingerbread house contest, and more. Please note: SGA will gladly cover the cost for anyone not on the All You Can Eat meal plan.

 December 2-4  Lessons and Carols
7:30 p.m. Fri. and 4:30 p.m. Sun. | Canterbury United Methodist Church | Lecture & Arts | Please join Birmingham-Southern College's combined Concert and Alumni Choirs for the 85th Annual Service of Lessons and Carols. The choirs will be under the direction of Dr. Lester C. Seigel '79, the Joseph Hugh Thomas Endowed Professor of Music, and accompanied by organist Dr. James Heustis Cook '68 and pianist Ken Watson '80.

Submit your best work to the Southern Academic Review, and the Excellence in Library Research Award could be yours! The fine print: Submit by Feb. 10 to The prize goes to first or second-year students only and is awarded to the paper that best demonstrates exemplary research using library resources.
