Dear TMI Grandparents,
Thinking about grandparents brings the biggest smiles to all of us at TMI! Grandparents are just so special to us, and as we find ourselves celebrating love this month, we want to celebrate TMI Grandparents and the mutual love we have for our students. As a grandparent, you have a special bond with your grandchild that’s unique in significant ways. Here at TMI we celebrate love for your grandchildren every day. In fact, we made it our motto this year, Love your neighbor.
Grandparents show unconditional love and have an unwavering commitment to their grandchildren in the same way that TMI commits to growing and building better human beings everyday. Like you, TMI teaches important values, lessons and memories to pass on to future generations. Being a grandparent gives you a strong sense of purpose. There may be nothing you wouldn’t do to affirm, support, and connect with your grandkids. We stand by our commitment to provide the best education for your grandchildren.
Our Advancement Team is here to support you and your grandchildren throughout their TMI journey and beyond. If you are interested in learning more about being involved through events, volunteering and giving at TMI, please let us know at Advancement@tmi-sa.org.
With Love & Respect,
The TMI Advancement Team

You're invited! Join us as we celebrate the Best and Brightest at our Stars Over TMI gala and auction on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at La Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX.
Stars Over TMI gala and auction is an elegant and fun party with a purpose! Started in 1995 by ’98 parent of alumni, Jerilyn Blanchard, and a small group of parent volunteers, Stars Over TMI was held outdoors on campus on what we refer to as “Stars Lawn” located in front of the Frost Athletic Building. Today, the event has grown to be TMI’s largest and most important fundraising event that fosters community and support from families, alumni, faculty, staff, parents of alumni, grandparents, business partners and friends of our school.
Every year, proceeds from the event go toward annual giving, which supports the operating budget, and helps close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a TMI education. Monies raised from Stars Over TMI impact all aspects of TMI including student life, programs, professional development, technology, grounds and facilities and more.
A planning committee of dedicated volunteers and staff work together in creating a memorable and meaningful event. Leading our volunteer committee this year are Stars Over TMI Event Chairs, Lisa and Chuck Harthan, Parents of Chad ’17, Chloe ’21 & Claire ’24 and Alissa and Steven Moya, Parents of Alessandro ’20 & Stefano ’26.
This year’s 2021 Stars fundraiser will include an online auction April 1-April 8 and in-person gala and live auction on Saturday, April 10 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the La Cantera Resort & Spa. For more information and to purchase tickets visit our website:

ALL IN for TMI! 2020-2021 TMI Fund
We want to extend a BIG Thank You to TMI Grandparents & Friends who have supported this year’s TMI Fund annual giving campaign. Our 2020-2021 goal is to raise $450,000 for TMI by the end of the school year.
To date, we only have $60,000 left to raise between now and May 31 and with everyone ALL IN, we know we can do it! Whether you're INspired, INvolved, or INvested, let us know that you're ALL IN for TMI. Every gift, every person, makes a difference.
