Revelator Coffee opening Oct. 10
Brewing coffee at the 3rd Avenue location in downtown Birmingham since 2014, Revelator Coffee is coming to Birmingham Southern College! The expected opening date is Monday, Oct. 10. Revelator will move into the Panther Perk space and serve signature house roasts in drip coffee and espresso-based beverages along with seasonal hot and iced beverages. Revelator will partner with several local vendors, including Continental Bakery and Steel City Pops, to bring delicious treats to campus. Panther Bucks will be accepted. Stop by for samples during move-in week starting today.

7:30 p.m. Tonight | Yeilding Chapel | We agree there are some unexpected things found in the Bible. Chaplain Julie Holly will teach on these stories in a new series, "Strange S#*! in the Bible," and help us discover things we can learn from strange stuff like a talking donkey, a plague of tumors, and a fish found with a coin in its mouth. Worship is student-led and all are invited.

E-Term Pre-Law Internship
This law office internship provides the opportunity to observe and participate in the work of a law firm in the Birmingham area. This experience will help you determine whether a career in law is right for you. To be eligible, you must have at least a 3.3 GPA. To apply, send a resume, your GPA, a brief writing sample (critical, not descriptive or narrative), and the name of a professor who would endorse your application for this position to Dr. Myers at bmyers@bsc.edu by October 14.

Fund for Education Abroad - open to students with US citizenship, DACA, permanent residency (preference for students with high financial need and underrepresented in study abroad) Deadline - early January.
Gilman Scholarship - for students who are Pell eligible. Deadline: early October
Gilman McCain Scholarship - for veterans or children of military families with some level of financial need. Deadline: early October.

Flu and Bivalent Covid Booster Shots
Flu and the new Covid booster shots will be available in Health Services Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 4-5. The shots are provided by Cahaba Medical Care. Walk in between 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1- 4:15 p.m. both days. Flu shots are FREE with insurance. Without insurance the cost is $15. The cost of bivalent Covid boosters are covered by the Federal Government. You can get both at the same time if requested. Questions, email healthservices@bsc.edu.
