If you applied to a selective or competitive CHP program, it is a good idea to make a Parallel Plan. Parallel plans create options if an application is not accepted or the student chooses a different career path.

Registration for Spring and Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Winter 2026 opens in March. Make an advising appointment soon to ensure you can get the assistance you need before your registration date!

If you are a first-year or transfer student, you are REQUIRED to meet with an advisor before registering. Banner will literally stop you. So please, make that appointment. 

First year advising appointments are available via Zoom or in-person. No matter what you choose, we've got your back.

The Seminar provides undecided college students or individuals considering a career change an opportunity to learn more about careers in healthcare and rehabilitation. Following attendance at the seminar, students can request a job shadow.

Topics presented are subject to staff availability, but participants can expect to learn about nursing, occupational therapy, orthotics and prosthetics, physical therapy, psychology, social work and care management, speech-language pathology and recreational therapy.

You’ll learn about education requirements, potential salary expectations and a typical day’s routine.

March is Women’s History Month—a time to recognize and celebrate the vital contributions women have made throughout history. Learning about women’s history helps us understand the challenges, achievements, and resilience of women who have shaped our world. It also highlights the ongoing pursuit of gender equity and inspires us to advocate for a more inclusive future. By engaging with these stories, we honor the past and empower the present.
