GIRLS CC AT PEORIA SPRING INVITE SATURDAY

Mason Girls CC will compete next Saturday, 9/20, at the Peoria Spring Invite.

Mason (2-2, 2-1) will visit Hamilton this Friday. Big Blue fell to East last week, 31-27.

BOYS GOLF

BOYS GOLF AT SECTIONAL WED. 9/24

The Comets compete next in the Division 1 Southwest Ohio Sectional on Wednesday, September 24th, returning to Whitewater Golf Course for that event.

The top 4 teams, plus the top 4 individuals not on a qualifying team, will advance to the District meet at Pipestone Golf Club on Monday, 10/6. Mason tees off hole #1 at the Sectional at 8:30 am paired with St. Xavier and Talawanda HS.

GIRLS GOLF

GIRLS' GOLF 2nd AFTER DAY 1 AT GMC

The Comets had a great first day at the GMC Championships at Walden Ponds on Tuesday. They were led by senior captain Ava Dattilo with a season-low 74. Ava carded 3 birdies in her round and is sitting T2 individually. Senior Allie Keim also had her season low, 81, which has her tied for 7th individually.

The team total was 334, which is their best team score of the season by 26 shots! Mason is sitting in second place, 22 shots back of Sycamore and 6 shots ahead of Lakota East.

The 2nd and final day of the league tourney returns to Walden Ponds today. Next for the Mason girls' golf is the Sectional tourney back at Walden Ponds on Tuesday, 9/23.

Mason (7-0-1, 4-0) will visit Oak Hills on Thursday, 9/18.

GIRLS' TENNIS BLANKS ELKS

Mason Tennis continued their winning ways on Monday with a 5-0 defeat of Centerville. See scores below:

Singles: Wagner def. Abend 6-1, 6-0; Moreno def. Kotte 6-0, 6-0; Srinivasan def. Morr 6-0, 6-1. Doubles: Cassidy-Sa.Reddy def. Sears-Moore 6-0, 6-0; Mittal-Hu def. Akella-Whipple 6-0, 6-0.

Next, Mason Tennis (14-0, 8-0) will host Sycamore on Friday, 9/19.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

GIRLS VB SPIKES FENWICK!

Mason VB defeated Fenwick in a 5-set back-and-forth thriller on Monday (31-29, 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-8). Ella Groff and Brooklyn Meinberg controlled the game with their serve-receive, contributing to the team's 2.14/3.00 rating.

Addy Bianchini and Addy Nutley each had 16 kills. The Comet defense had 5 players with double-digit digs (Maya Ahlers, Emma Caddell, Meinberg, Groff, and Bianchini), and middle blockers Avery Brannon and Addy Nutley having 6 and 5 blocks, respectively.

Mason VB (11-3, 4-0) will visit Oak Hills on Thursday.
