Dear Faculty Colleagues:
In partnership with Vice President Truss of Enrollment Management and Educational Outreach, I invite expressions of interest from faculty members to serve as the GVSU Workday Student Training Lead. This role focuses on leading and managing efforts to train end users on Workday Student.
The selected individual will begin in February 2025, dedicating approximately 30-50% of their time to the project efforts until the deployment concludes in Winter 2028 semester. Compensation will be provided for Winter 2025, with the potential for course reassigned time in future semesters.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with Workday Student project teams, including change management, testing, communications, functional workstreams, and project sponsors.
- Oversee formation of the Training Team and manage engagement of team members to meet training goals.

Work with implementation partner Alchemy to deliver successful training outcomes, including fulfillment of Alchemy Statement of Work deliverables. This includes development of the training strategy and delivery plan.
- Coordinate and provide oversight for development of training materials.
- Plan and manage logistics for training including course offerings, accessibility of training materials, training tenant coordination, etc.
- Serve as the GVSU Workday Student training expert and primary point-of-contact for faculty and staff.
- Communicate training plans and updates to the campus community through written materials and presentations.
