| Prepare for TCU Alert Aug. 30

During the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 30, TCU will test its emergency mass notification system, which includes outdoor loudspeakers and emergency lighting on campus. The test should last approximately two minutes.

TCU’s first home football game this season will kick off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10. Parking opens four hours before kickoff, and neighbors can expect Stadium Drive (between Cantey and Bellaire) to be closed. In the days leading up to the opening game, band rehearsals, sound checks and other activities are underway.

| | The 2022 TCU Rhino Run will take place Sept. 18. The 6th Annual Rhino Run supports TCU’s Rhino Initiative to help save the majestic species from extinction. Check out the event page for information on traffic or joining the event.

ROTC will be in action this month and utilizing simulated rifles. This includes a POW/MIA recognition on Sept. 12-13, and training exercises Sept. 22 and Sept. 29. Information will be updated as available.

TCU Family Weekend starts Sept. 30, when parents and families will visit campus for the Saturday football game and other weekend activities.
