BOYS GOLF ALTER INVITE RESULTS
On Monday, August 25, the Mason Boys Golfers traveled to Beavercreek to compete in the Kettering Alter Invitational at Country Club of the North. Mason shot a team score of 330 and finished 16th out of 22 teams.
Senior Alex Chamberlain had the team's best score with an 81 (+9). What's interesting about his round is that Alex was also +9 after his first 8 holes, so he played the final 10 holes in even par.
Senior Curtis Crimmins had the team's second-best score of 82; junior Jack Hellman posted the third score of 83. Jack very nearly had the team's best score as he was leading the Comets' scorers through 14 holes before running into difficulty on his 15th hole of the day. Jack didn't let the single bad score bother him, though, as he played his remaining 3 holes in 1 under par.
Senior Sam O'Donnell posted an 84 to round out the team's total of 330, while sophomore Jason Harter had the 5th score of 88.
The team competes next in an unusual 9-hole home match at Heritage Club in Mason on Thursday, August 28, against GMC rival Lakota East.

Bianchini Records Historic Accomplishment
Mason swept Princeton 3-0 on Tuesday night for their first GMC win of the season.
Senior Addy Bianchini was recognized for hitting a milestone statistic. She has the rare Triple 500-- 500 kills, 500 digs, 500 assists in her career. Looking back through our GMC stats dating back to 2007, she is the only Mason player to accomplish that feat.
Next, Mason 4-3, 1-0) will visit Roger Bacon on Tuesday, 9/2.
