Are you interested in taking the APPQMR? Distance Education facilitates a few sessions of this Quality Matters workshop, virtually, face-to-face, and online, throughout the semester for APSU faculty. Please reach out to our office if you need assistance registering for the workshop.

On February 3, 2024, Zoom will require version 5.14.5 or higher for all Zoom clients as a part of its Quarterly Life Cycle Policy.  Please check your Zoom version and update to the latest version if necessary.  If you are unable to see the update option within the Zoom app, your app is automatically being updated by the Office of Information Technology and no action is needed.

Start the semester off right with expert help from APSU’s Tutor.com program! Students can connect with an online tutor to get the help they need to succeed in their classes. Test Prep for the NCLEX, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT are available on the platform. Also, there are Student Success topics for students to receive expert advice on time management, study skills, tech, and more! 

The service is open to all APSU undergraduate students and is accessed through D2L courses under “Resources” and then “Tutor.com 24/7.” Encourage your students to seek help when they need it! Data on these sessions are also available to you. Visit the online tutoring website for more information.

Reminders for Honorlock users:  

Honorlock exams must be enabled each semester. In your D2L course, go to Resources > Honorlock then enable and review settings for each quiz in which you want to use Honorlock online proctoring.

Prepare your students for success by allowing them to experience the Honorlock proctoring process before taking a graded exam. You can accomplish this in one of two ways:

Setting up a practice exam.

Practice exams help by familiarizing students with the Honorlock platform and its requirements. This allows them to become more confident and comfortable during the online proctoring process.

Setting up a simulated - not proctored exam.

This allows you to create your exams in D2L or use a third-party tool like McGraw Hill.
