We hope your 2026 has been off to a great start! Our Young Life (high school) and WyldLife (middle school) teams have been busy with weekly programming and intentionally pursuing relationships with kids in our community. Our volunteer leaders continue to go where kids are—meeting them on their turf and in their everyday spaces. You might find them at coffee shops, sports games, musicals, the school hallways, or even McDonald’s!

It is a privilege and a joy to be part of this ministry and to watch God transform the hearts of young people as they encounter Jesus Christ. Here a just a few of the special moments we’ve experienced recently:

  • Seeing a few high school moms return to Young Life Club (students who also now participate in a small group led by one of our leaders!)

  • Giving a middle school student their very first Bible.

  • Watching students break into a spontaneous dance circle in Young Life and WyldLife Club rooms because they feel safe and supported in those spaces!

Every week we have the privilege of walking alongside students as they learn more about Jesus. They are being reminded that they matter, that they are deeply loved, and that their lives have purpose. It is truly a gift to witness.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support as we continue showing up in the lives of kids and pointing them to Jesus Christ. We are incredibly grateful.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of kids around the world head to Young Life camp for a week—or even just a weekend—and many leave saying it was the best week of their lives.

Young Life camp is packed with high adventure, nonstop fun, incredible food, and outstanding speakers who genuinely understand and respect middle school and high school students. Everything we do points toward one simple goal: introducing kids to Jesus Christ in a way that feels real, safe, and life-changing.

This summer we will be bringing students from Cloquet, Esko, Carlton, and our surrounding area! Do YOU know someone who should experience the best week of their life? Here are the details:

Young Life Summer Camp (High School)

June 15–20 | Cost: $695

Wyldlife Summer Camp (Middle School)

July 21–25 | Cost: $580

For many students camp is something they dream about, but financial barriers can stand in the way. Would you consider partnering with us to help send more kids to camp, giving them the chance to experience Jesus Christ and a week that could truly change their lives?

It’s hard to believe it has already been five months since I moved to Cloquet and stepped into the role of Area Director. This transition season hasn’t been without its challenges, but through it all I’ve experienced a deep and steady peace about the decision. In the deepest part of my soul, I know this is where God has called me to be.

This season has taught me that life can hold both hard and beautiful things at the same time. There have been moments of stretching and growth, but also so many reminders of God’s faithfulness and the gift of this community. And on a lighter note—I officially survived my first “up north” winter!

As spring approaches, I feel hopeful and excited for this next season in Cloquet and all the opportunities it brings to continue walking alongside kids and leaders here. Thank you for the prayers, encouragement, and support you continue to give—not just to this ministry, but to me personally. It means more than you know.

As a leader, you’d get to come alongside students and help them grow in their faith, serving your community youth!

As a Committee member, you’d bring guidance, prayer, and support for the YL team, filling a vital role in our area!
