North Dallas Shared Ministries Benefit: May 16th, 2014

NDSM is adding a raffle to their Annual Benefit, taking place on Friday, May 16th at St. Monica Catholic Church. Now, in addition to dinner, music by Black Dirt Tango and great fellowship, every attendee will be entered into an on-site raffle. (Additional tickets will be available at the event – cash or check only!) Raffle tickets are only $5 each (or 5 for $20).

North Dallas Shared Ministries (NDSM) has four main goals in support of their charitable mission to help low-income people assume as much responsibility for their lives as they are able:

First, they provide appropriate emergency assistance.
Second, they help them access entitlement, health and community programs designed to help them achieve long-term stability.
Third, they promote their wellness and financial independence.
Fourth, they develop resource materials that can lead them to additional services and support.

Their goal as an organization is simple – to deliver aid as efficiently and effectively as possible. Since their founding, NDSM has overwhelmingly relied on volunteers – over 500 at present – to fulfill their mission.
