Lenten Presentation of "According to Mark"

The Gospel of Mark in Spoken Word

Tuesday, March 26
Roger A. Finnell Auditorium

7 to 9 p.m.

Performed by James Krag '80

Join us during this Lenten season of peace, reflection, penance, love, mercy and forgiveness for a wonderful and enlightening experience of the Gospel according to Mark in spoken word.

James Krag ‘80 is excited to return to Fenwick High School to present “According to Mark.” Through his studies of Mark, Jim is convinced that this gospel is meant to be spoken rather than read:
“Mark’s gospel is a wonderfully structured piece of theater - with a strong leader, humorous sidekicks, villains, intrigue and great tragedy. Mark presents Jesus as very human and complex, and reveals His struggles as He grows from a simple carpenter into the King of Kings.”

James was last seen as Jacob Marley in “A Christmas Carol” at Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook. Recently, he played Roger in “The Curious Incident of The Dog In the Night-Time'' at Farmer’s Alley Theater.
His New York credits include the original Broadway production of “Burn This.” Other credits include originating the role of EKO in the Pulitzer Prize Finalist “The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity,” and originating the role of Sandy in “Duck Hunter Shoots Angel” by “Tuesdays With Morrie” author Mitch Albom. His film and TV work includes “While You Were Sleeping,” “Mercury Rising,” “Ellen” and “Chicago PD.”

This is a free event, but please register.
