Help! More Volunteers Needed to Build the New Ranch House Playground

The new Ranch House playground will be installed on Saturday, April 12, and we need more volunteers to help! Resident volunteers will do most of the installation, supervised by employees of the playground equipment manufacturer. The Community Build is a great event for the whole family. There are multiple shifts available for several age groups as well as fun activities planned throughout the day. The playground will reopen on Wednesday, April 16 following final inspection of the equipment. For more information and to sign up, see our Special Events page.

Expanded Easter Event at Ranch House

The annual Ken-Caryl Easter event will be on Sunday, April 13 from 1-3 p.m. on the lawn outside of the Ken-Caryl Ranch House. Hop on down for some festive fun and enjoy an egg hunt, Easter basket drawing and the Easter Bunny! The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District is partnering with realtor Pat Lynch and the Ken-Caryl Parent Network (KCPN) to expand this annual celebration with face painting by Suz-Z-Q-Z, activities sponsored by The Little Gym and a drawing for swim lessons, courtesy of the Clownfish Swim Club. Also new this year will be light refreshments and snacks provided by KCPN. Easter egg hunts will begin at 2 p.m. for children 0-2 years old, 2:10 p.m. for ages 2-4, 2:20 p.m. for ages 5-7 and 2:30 p.m. for ages 8 and up. Hope you can join us for the fun!

Neighborhood Signage Concepts

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association will be phasing in the replacement of entrance signs around Ken-Caryl Ranch over several years, with the near-term priority being the most deteriorated signs. The Master Association contracted with Arthouse Design to help develop the new sign design. Four sign family concepts were presented at the April Joint Study Session. These four sign families are just the initial design possibilities, and we are asking for resident feedback to help develop the final sign design. The final colors and materials will be determined after studying alternatives and obtaining bids through a separate decision process. Residents are encouraged to provide feedback on the Design Concepts by emailing Chris Pacetti at chrisp@kcranch.org by May 31. The first few slides show pictures of some of the current signs, and the remaining slides show the four design options.

Not Just Electronics Recycling Event May 10

Get rid of your unwanted electronics, appliances, televisions, large trash items, scrap metal, paperwork, yard waste, paint and tires from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, in the Ranch House parking lot. The "Not Just Electronics" Recycling Event is a huge hit with residents each year. More details about what you can and can't donate will be available later this month. Stay tuned!

Street Sign Replacement Project

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association has begun the process of replacing street signs throughout the neighborhoods. The project will be ongoing throughout the year, so your neighborhood’s signs may not be replaced for several months. Our office has had a few requests from residents who would like their old street sign when it is removed. If you have any interest in keeping a sign, please send an email to Chris Pacetti at chrisp@kcranch.org with your name, street address and contact number. Any signs that aren’t requested will be recycled.

Summer Class Registration Starts Today

Summer class registration is here! The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District offers a variety of classes for all age levels. Registration for summer classes began today for residents and will start April 14 for non-residents. See the District Dimensions course catalog and visit our Class Registration site to register.
