Michelle Bowdler  Senior Director of Health and Wellness Services Dear Parents and Families, Winter Break will soon be upon us, and our students will celebrate the completion of another semester. Prior to every semester’s conclusion, though, are the inevitable challenge of finals and the accompanying stressors.  Just last week, an incredible article appeared In the Tufts Daily, written by a Tufts student giving her fellow students a glimpse into her own journey of self-care. I found its message inspiring: Self care, reflection and mindfulness can help us in our everyday lives, and these concepts are especially important during times of challenge and stress. I am writing today on behalf of Health and Wellness to let you know a few ways that staff and faculty at Tufts work to support students during finals, as well as to encourage you to become our partners in promoting rest, healthy eating, exercise, and other strategies for self-care... Continue Reading Michelle Bowdler's Letter Career Center The Tufts Career Center is open throughout Winter Break! Students can make an appointment to meet with a career advisor in person or by phone. We invite you to explore the our Winter Guides, with tips and career resources specifically for your Tufts student: First Years Sophomores Juniors Seniors My Bus Home We are excited to offer a new way to get home during University break periods. Tufts has partnered with My Bus Home, which provides coach bus service to various areas in the mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Starting this Winter Break, My Bus Home will offer bus transportation in private, fully insured motor coaches with a restroom, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. Destinations Buses will pick up students on campus in the Cohen Parking Lot and transport them to central locations in Darien, CT; Jericho, Long Island; West Orange, NJ; and Plymouth Meeting, PA. A minimum of 30 passengers is required and each coach can hold up to 50 passengers. Cost The estimated round trip fare is $90.00 - $140.00, depending on the number of passengers and stops.
