GBHEM Candidacy Office Offers Financial Planning Services to Certified Candidates

The Candidacy Office has partnered with Wespath and EY to offer financial planning services to certified candidates for licensed and ordained ministry. The services will be offered at no cost to candidates upon certification by their district committees on ordained ministry. read more 

New Education Center Launches

GBHEM's new Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Center will offer creative and flexible programs, including hybrid units in a variety of ministry settings throughout the global church, as well as training for CPE supervisors. read more 

Registration Now Open for Exploration 2017

This three-day event for young adults, ages 18-26, will be hosted in Portland, Oregon November 3-5, 2017. This biennial event helps attendees listen, discern, and respond to God’s call to ordained ministry. read more 

2017 Francis Asbury Award Recipients Named

GBHEM presented the Francis Asbury Award to 15 individuals and one group from across the U.S. This annual award is one of the ways the agency continually strives to recognize, enable and resource leadership within the church. read more

  • Higher Education and Ministry Announces 2017 YCI Grant Recipients: Thirty-Four applicants were awarded 2017 Young Clergy Initiative (YCI) grants. Award amounts vary based on project scope, and some recipients will receive funds over the period of several years for ongoing projects. read more
