Have a Longwood Story to Share?

Enter our #LongwoodStory Contest with a friend thru May 19

Do you and a friend or family member have a special Longwood Gardens memory you want to share? Submit your story for a chance to win the conversation of a lifetime with StoryCorps, a national oral history project.

Winners must be able to travel to Longwood Gardens on June 13 or 14 with their interview partner to have their stories audio-recorded. Transportation to Longwood will not be provided. Contest ends May 19 at 11 pm.

Fireworks Launch May 24

Purchase tickets to our first Fireworks & Fountains Show of the season 

Join us for our Memorial Day Weekend Show, Big Band and Broadway, May 24 at 9:15 pm.

This Show features the classics from the Big Band era, including Give My Regards to Broadway, Manhattan Lullaby, Luck Be A Lady, Moonlight Serenade, and more. Please note: Gardens close at 6 pm to everyone but Fireworks & Fountains ticketholders on May 24.

Make the most of your experience by purchasing tickets for our Summer Barbeque, where you can dine on gourmet picnic fare before fireworks launch.

Our Wine & Jazz Festival is expanding to a garden-wide experience with live jazz performances on multiple stages throughout our Gardens. This year's headliner features Tony Award winner and three-time Grammy Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater. Savor fine wine from 16 of the region's finest wineries and enjoy the sights and sounds of live jazz throughout the day. 

Our Gardens close to to everyone except Wine & Jazz Festival ticketholders at 2 pm on Saturday, June 7.
Members-only Meadow Evening 

Explore our new Meadow Garden, June 19, 5–8 pm

Enjoy our new Meadow Garden during one evening dedicated exclusively to our Members. Spanning 86 acres, our newest garden opens June 13 and features three miles of walking and hiking trails, sweeps of colorful native wildflower plantings, four learning pavilions, the historic Webb Farmhouse & Galleries, and more. Registration is not required. Members may use complimentary guest tickets for this event.
