» Amazing Verse: Keith Urban wasn't the only one serenading staff and patients at Australia's Monash Children's Hospital Friday (6/13) – wife and superstar actress Nicole Kidman joined in on the impromptu concert. Down under for a fundraising event benefiting the Celebrate Life Foundation, the couple stopped by the facility to share smiles and lift a few spirits. And it's not the first time; Kidman is somewhat of a regular. When Urban suddenly grabbed a nearby guitar and launched into "Amazing Grace," Kidman was among those to jump right in. » All My Friends Play: He's probably not going to quit his day (night?) job, but Luke Bryan took some time out for batting practice with the St. Louis Cardinals Friday (6/13) while he was in town for two sold-out That's My Kind Of Night Tour stops. Pitcher Adam Wainwright got him the hookup, according to Bryan's video on the team's Instagram here.


» Stride Right: Thomas Rhett and his father Rhett Akins raised $40,000 with a concert for their hometown's Great Strides Valdosta effort in honor of their cousin Sophie, who has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. "When it happens to one of your family members it puts it that much more at the forefront of your mind and makes you want to do anything you can to help out," Thomas says.


» Settin' The 'Wood On Fire: Production on a Hank Williams biopic gets underway in October, with Avengers star Tom Hiddleston in the starring role. I Saw The Light will shoot in Louisiana with Marc Abraham directing, according to Deadline Hollywood. The movie is said to be based on Colin Escott's biography of the mercurial and troubled star who died at the age of 29 in 1953. More here.


» In Case You Missed It: Kacey Musgraves teamed with Katy Perry for Friday's (6/13) CMT Crossroads, performing Musgraves' "Follow Your Arrow" and "Merry Go Round" and Perry's "Roar" and "Teenage Dream." And over the weekend, McBride surprised a 16-year-old blind fan in Huntsville, AL by inviting her onstage for an impromptu duet of "Anyway" as a thank-you for helping Team Martina raise $33,000 for charity. » Crib Note: Congratulations to Kelly Clarkson and husband Brandon Blackstock on the Thursday (6/12) birth of daughter River Rose, the couple's first child. "Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes!" Clarkson tweeted over the weekend. "Brandon and I are on cloud nine!"


» Wedding Belle: Best wishes to The Band Perry's Kimberly Perry and Texas Rangers catcher J.P. Arencibia, who were married Thursday (6/12) in Greeneville, TN. Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher were in attendance, as were Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. Nashville's Lennon & Maisy Stella and Christian rock band Third Day lead singer Mac Powell performed at the ceremony. Perry's brothers Reid and Neil were the best men.


» Findin' A Good Man: Congratulations to Danielle Peck, who married tour production manager Josh Smith last week at Belleek Castle in Ballina, Ireland. "This day was a dream come true for me," says Peck. "I've married my best friend and look forward to spending the rest of my life with the one I love."
