TEAM GREEN SPOTLIGHT

Team Green's Urban Farm Volunteer Day with the Hands On Nashville Urban Farm is one of our most popular volunteer events each year! Join us this year on Saturday, May 3rd. Produce harvested from the Farm is used in Hands On Nashville's programs to give youth the opportunity to harvest, prepare, and taste healthy foods. Your hard work will help bridge the gap for those experiencing hunger or who don't have access to fresh, healthy food.

Your hard work will help bridge the gap for those experiencing hunger or who don't have access to fresh, healthy food. Work may include digging new garden beds, planting starts and seeds, creating pathways, building benches or greenhouses, and more.  Spots are limited for this free volunteer event! Open to ages 6 and older with parental supervision.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Intro to Archery
Saturday, May 10th at 10am
Learn the skills of archery in a fun, beginner-friendly, instructional atmosphere with fellow Team Greeners! H Lazy H Archery will guide you through a 30 minute skills orientation, followed by 60-90 minutes of practicing your aim at the target! Open to ages 8 and up with parental supervision. Can't attend the event on May 10th? We have additional Intro to Archery events posted throughout the summer!


Level 2 Backpacking: Jack's River
May 24-26th
Looking to get away from the overflow of tourists in your favorite camping spots and waterways during Memorial Weekend? Consider a long backpacking trip with like-minded adventure seekers! This is an intermediate multi-night backpacking trip.


Hang Gliding & Camping Weekend
June 21-22nd
Register  for Team Green's Hang Gliding & Camping Weekend with Lookout Mountain Hang Glide. Enjoy an in-flight hang glide lesson, with a professional hang glide instructor by your side! This is a family friendly event! Currently open to Team Green Members Only. Registration open to Non-Members on June 6th.
