Open Doors, Open Hearts

Did you know that word-of-mouth is how most people find out about The Christi Center?  Do you have friends and colleagues that you have been wanting to introduce to us? We're now offering  a special way for people to learn more about The Christi Center's services, work in the community, volunteer opportunties and more!
Please join us for lunch and tour at one of our new Open Doors,Open Hearts lunches from 12-1 pm on the 1st Thursday of each month. We'll provide a light lunch and give you a "behind-the-scenes" look at our operations. Reservations are required so we can keep the group to a manageable size and order enough food. For info, or to let us know you plan to attend, please email Lara or call 512-467-2600.

New Faces!

The Christi Center is pleased to announce the addition of 2 new members of our team!
Katie Arens is our new Peer Support Coordinator. She will be acting as clinical support to our peer facilitators, serving as a new member liaison, and coordinating the retreats for our adult programs.
Victoria Valles is the Kids Who Kare Coordinator for both the Austin and Williamson County programs. She will be planning and facilitating both groups, launching a "Tween" Group, and developing healing activities for the Kids Who Kare families.
Wednesday Lunches
Wednesday Group Members--past & present--are invited to renew and strengthen their heart connections over lunch. We'll meet each 1st and 4th Wednesday at Koya Restaurant (formerly known as Peony's) at 1:15pm.

Other News
Please help us welcome new  Kathleen "Kathy" McCleskey as President of The Christi Center's Board of Directors. We are so appreciative of the hard work of outgoing Board President Dr. Randy Frazier, who will be acting as Immediate Past President to help facilitate the transition. Also joining the Board are Joel Ferguson, Kelli Johnson, and Cory MacDonald.
