MUSE Access for Alumni
As the semester comes to a close, graduating students may soon find themselves in new places and new positions where they would appreciate having the same access to MUSE content as they had while students. The good news is that MUSE journals and books licenses both include alumni as authorized users (the licenses have always included alumni as authorized users).
Alumni access is available at no additional cost to the institution. Libraries may provide access through the campus network or via a secure proxy server; the method for handling alumni access is the responsibility of the subscribing institution. Questions about alumni access may be directed to MUSE Customer Support.
New Archival Journal Issues Added
Several publishers recently added archival issues of their journals. Archival issues are available at no additional cost to subscribing institutions. MUSE journal subscribers that currently have access to the following titles now have access to the archival issues as well:
  • Arizona Quarterly: A Journal of American Literature, Culture, and Theory  Vol. 44, No. 3, 1988 - current issue
  • Journal of the Southwest  Vol. 49, No. 1, 2007 - current issue
  • Social Research  Vol. 71, No. 1, 2004 - current issue
