New Tampa's high school Young Life crowd experiences SharpTop Cove in Georgia in July. This picture is after the camp-wide volleyall tournament, where teams from each cabin create their own costumes for the event. Also in July, WyldLife students spent a crazy-fun week at SouthWind, a YoungLife camp in central Florida. Sixth grade WyldLife students spent a long weekend at Disney, connecting with each other, their leaders, and Christ in a trip just for the newest members of Young Life. Teenagers and young adults with special needs camped for a week at SouthWind this summer. Capernaum, a thriving ministry in high demand in the New Tampa community, is successful because of the dedication of dozens of leaders and volunteers, including many typical kids who serve as "buddies" for this week of camp.

Celebrating four fantastic summer camps Summer camps are an important part of the Young Life mission, where teenagers get away from everyday life and connect with adults who care about them -- and Jesus -- in incredible ways. We had four successful camps this summer (see pictures at left), where more than 125 New Tampa middle school, high school, and special needs students experienced an amazing fun-filled, and Christ-filled week they'll never forget.   Young Life Banquet  Save the date: Oct 27 You won't want to miss this year's New Tampa Young Life banquet. We're turning our "typical" banquet on its side and promising our guests all the fun, excitement, and life-changing messages that Young Life offers to teenagers, wrapped up in one evening of casting a vision for our ministry in the community.
