The Comptroller's Office has released the October revenue report showing $970.8 million was collected, which is 11.06% more than was collected in October 2014 and $90.7 million greater than the budgeted estimate for October 2015.  You can read the full report here.    
Also released was the Labor Market Report for September 2015.  This report shows statistics related to non-agricultural employment across Tennessee.  Included in the report is a breakdown of employment rates in each county, as well as trends across the state and in metropolitan areas.  Click here to read the full report.
The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ATRBA) reports that a bipartisan effort to secure passage of legislation that would fund all programs administered by the U.S. Department of Transportation for FY 2016 was stalled in the U.S. Senate.  These transportation programs are currently operating under a "continuing resolution" that maintains FY 2015 levels through December 11.  Click here to read the full report.
