SISTERS
Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters.  Caring, sharing every little thing that they are wearing. All kinds of weather, they stick together the same in the rain or sun.  Two different faces, but in tight places they think and they act as one.  Those who've seen them know that not a thing could come between them.
Willi and Clemie are our beautiful and intelligent Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback sisters that we have been housing for months.  Everyone who meets them falls in love but because they are very bonded, we won't separate them, making finding a home for them together very challenging.
Our Christmas wish is for these two exceptional dogs to be in their forever home, together, by the first of the year.  Can you or someone you know offer these beauties that home?  Please share this newsletter with your friends. Someone out there can offer this pair the home they have been waiting for!

STARLA
It's that time of year again.....no, not Christmas, hunting season. With it comes countless hunting dogs that are left in the woods without a tracker or a collar. Irresponsible hunters discard their dogs like trash, leaving them to fend for themselves if they don't come back or didn't hunt well. The ones that survive make their way to a road and are picked up by good Samaritans who bring them to shelters all across the south.
Many of these dogs can't be saved but some of them have the potential of being a great pet, that is the case with Starla here. She is young, healthy and playful....she even tosses toys for her own enjoyment. She has a beautiful face and a bay that is to die for. Please remember these hounds when you are considering adopting. They make wonderful pets!
MEOWY CHRISTMAS AND A YAPPY NEW YEAR!
As 2014 draws to a close we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters, volunteers and members.  Our work can be difficult but it is also incredibly gratifying and rewarding.
It is because of you that we are able to reach out, care for and find homes for the many hundreds of homeless pets that pass through our doors each year. Your continued support is crucial if we are to carry out our mission of providing safe haven, medical care, food and loving attention until our pets are adopted.
We wish all of you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!
