Dear Loyola community,
Unfortnately today's Letter to Loyola included inaccurate information about an Hispanic Heritage Bilingual Mass. This year we will have a Mass celebrating the conclusion of Hispanic Heritage Month. It will be at noon on Wednesday, October 12, in Ingatius Chapel.
The letter also inadvertantly included a link to an outdated web page, which has been deactivated until updated information is available.
The events listed below are accurate, and more are being planned. Please watch for future communications via email and social media about other events in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month.

While recognizing that terms like “Hispanic” and “Latinx” really denote many heterogeneous cultures, with this event we’d like to underscore both the successes and challenges related to immigrants’ experiences from Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula to New Orleans. The speakers in this series will discuss topics ranging from the history of the Mexican Consulate in New Orleans, to immigration issues, and more. Join us!
