 David Nail I'm A Fire: Nail shares writing credit on the album with the likes of Jonathan Singleton, Brandy Clark, Brett Eldredge and The Cadillac Three's Jaren Johnston. Singleton and Johnston perform on the album, too, as do Sarah Buxton, Little Big Town and Lee Ann Womack. Nail says the album represents his newfound energy and enthusiasm about life. It's more upbeat than his previous efforts and even features a cover of "Galveston" in tribute to one of his musical heroes, Glen Campbell.
Eli Young Band 10,000 Towns: After the success of "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" it's no surprise to see a couple of Will Hoge-penned tracks on the album. Contributing songwriters also include Josh Osborne, David Lee Murphy and Billy Montana. Includes "Drunk Last Night" and "Dust," which band members say reminds them all of their wives.
Sundy Best Bring Up The Sun: The duo is made up of Nick Jamerson and Kris Bentley, lifelong friends who grew up together in eastern Kentucky and played music in church and a high school band before forming Sundy Best as a bar band in Lexington. The two wrote every song on the album, and "everything we’ve written is a true story," Jamerson says. Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown Band, Sara Evans, Chris Young, Jerrod Niemann and Love And Theft are among the artists joining the Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald on an album featuring new recordings of the Doobies' biggest hits. "I loved their sound, and the enduring appeal and influence ... runs deep," says Sony/Nashville Chairman Gary Overton, whose label is overseeing the project. "Artists have been telling me how excited they are to be a part of this project, and that alone speaks volumes about [the band's] amazing heritage."
Rascal Flatts will have one of their new songs featured in the upcoming film Heaven Is For Real, which opens April 16. "Compass" will also be included in the band's new album Rewind, due out May 13. More

Congratulations to Dee Jay Silver on his engagement to Jenna Michelle Straub. Silver, who is on tour with Brad Paisley, popped the question at the Ft. Wayne, IN tour stop Thursday (2/27). "I've always been told that when you meet the right person you're gonna know it, and that's exactly what happened," he says. "She's my best friend and I couldn't imagine life without her."
