A Successful Journey
April is a resident in the single women’s unit of our Transitional Housing program. She has been with us for about 23 months. Case workers are currently preparing April for her move from our Transitional Housing program and into permanent housing, coincidentally in April.
During her time here April has purchased a car, remained drug and alcohol free and maintained fulltime employment. April’s most recent success was becoming an employee for Starbucks Coffee. With her time in the Transitional Housing program coming to an end, April, has set new goals for herself. Those goals are to go back to school to complete her degree and enter the management training program at Starbucks.
