Dear Members of the NJCU Community:
As the impact from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold, we would like to provide you with updated information regarding University events on and off campus:
--University offices are open and services, such as the Health & Wellness Center and the Library, remain available to students and faculty.
--Dining services and the residence halls remain open though students who can remain home are encouraged to do so until March 30.
--All events that involve external groups such as performances, conferences, meetings, facility rentals/usage, etc. are canceled or postponed from March 16 through March 29.
--All off-campus University events are canceled or postponed from March 6 through March 29.
--All events scheduled between March 12 through March 15 may proceed at the discretion of the divisional Vice President/Provost.
--Groups with events scheduled after March 29 are urged to begin considering alternative plans in case future events need to be cancelled or postponed.
--While on campus, employees are strongly encouraged to use teleconference services, in lieu of in-person meetings, in an effort to promote social-distancing as a way to slow the spread of the virus.
--Beginning March 16, all NJCU Athletics activities, including but not limited to competition, practice, events and workshops are suspended until March 29.
--The John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center facility will be closed for members and public access until March 29.  Only NJCU personnel will have access to enter the facility.
