Alexandra Gangi MD, will be the featured guest for CCF's Luncheon with the Experts Facebook LIVE series on Thursday, November 12 from 12 noon to 1 pm, Eastern Time.

Alexandra Gangi, MDsurgical oncologist, is Director of the Gastrointestinal Tumor Program, Surgical Oncology, Department of Surgery at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, California. Her subspecialty within surgical oncology is gastrointestinal oncology and her clinical areas include neuroendocrine tumors, liver tumors, pancreatic cancers, and liver resection. In the area of research, she and her team are collecting tissue from primary and metastatic small bowel NETs and sequencing to see differences in epigenetic signature in these tumors.

She is a TACSC and UCLA Anderson Board member.
December 3, Rodrigo Vianna, MD, PhD, leads the Miami Transplant Institute (MTI), a unique affiliation between Jackson Health System and UHealth – University of Miami Health System, as director of MTI and chief of liver, intestinal, and multivisceral transplant. Dr. Vianna is an accomplished liver transplant surgeon and a pioneer in intestinal and multivisceral transplantation. He is also a professor of clinical surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
December 10, Mark Lewis, MD, medical oncologist, is Director of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Intermountain Healthcare in Utah. His interests include young-onset cancers and hereditary cancer syndromes, shared decision-making, and patient-physician communication. Dr. Lewis is active in the SWOG Cancer Research Network, a clinical trials cooperative group created by the National Cancer Institute; within SWOG he chairs Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Oncology.
