Adobe Donation Helps Youth

Participants in the Ready, Set, Connect program have been given a helping hand by tech giant Adobe, which has provided free access to InDesign software. Using this tool, youth will help market computer tutoring opportunities at Oakland's libraries.


Phenomenal Friday - Practice Fusion Kick Starts New Program for Seniors

On Friday March 14, at the Downtown Senior Center in San Francisco, CTN ran the first Internet Workshop for Seniors of 2014 with volunteers from city-based e-health company Practice Fusion. With their help, seniors learned important email skills. Read more about this event.


Rosa Parks Senior Center Launches Basic Skills Class

The first class at the center runs until April 22, as part of an effort to draw in more seniors to the new learning space, which is furnished with 12 computers. Together with regular volunteer-supported lab sessions each week, more seniors in the Western Addition will have the help they need to become computer proficient.
