Office of Student Life - Fraternity & Sorority Life

Name:
 Chris McQueen

Title: Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life

Position Description: I provide leadership, vision, and strategic initiatives to build internal and external partnerships, provide leadership development, implement assessment, workshops on diversity, equity, and inclusion, for the fraternity & sorority life community.

Share something about yourself that others may not know: I’ve lived in 7 different countries.

What do you enjoy doing outside of your work at GV? Most times I enjoy catching up on sleep…lol. When I’m not working or catching up on sleep, I enjoy working out, sitting next to a body of water, driving with the windows down on a nice day or watching a documentary.

What is your favorite or funniest college memory, either as a student or as a staff? One of my favorite moments in undergrad was meeting Drake and Chris Brown while I was working at our campus rec center.

What do you love about helping college students? I love helping students find their "ah-ha" moments, and seeing them grow during their undergraduate experience.
