Colorado College Homecoming and Family

Weekend 2021: Final Reminders

It’s almost here! Campus is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to welcome you for this year’s combined Homecoming and Family Weekend. There are over 2,100 alumni, students, parents, families, and friends registered for the weekend’s events. We're looking forward to celebrating CC together!

To help ensure a positive experience for everyone, we have a few important pieces of information to share. Please read these carefully so you are informed and prepared for the weekend. See you on campus soon!

Registration Central
With the exception of our 50th reunion classes, all attendees must check in at Registration Central. (All 50th reunion attendees may check in at their Thursday class events.) Check-in includes submitting a valid photo ID along with one of the following items for compliance with CC’s Public Events Policy: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, a negative COVID-19 test result from within 72 hours of check-in, or proof of infection and recovery from COVID-19 (at least 10 days prior with no symptoms, and no more than 90 days prior to event). Each attendee will be given their HFW nametag to indicate compliance. Attendees are asked to wear this nametag at all times while on campus throughout the weekend, and nametags will be required for entrance into any HFW events. (Current students, faculty, and staff do not need to go through registration central and may show their valid Gold Card for entrance into events.) All attendees are also required to follow the current CC risk mitigation protocols, which include wearing a mask indoors at all times, except when actively eating or drinking. All Homecoming and Family Weekend COVID-19 resources can be found online.

Registration Central Hours (1st floor of the Charles L. Tutt Library):
Friday, 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Parking/Shuttles/ADA
All parking lots on campus are closed to visitors. CC will provide a free shuttle between various downtown parking locations and campus throughout Homecoming and Family Weekend. The shuttle will run twice per hour.

Parking/Shuttle locations include the following host hotels for those with lodging reservations: The Antlers Hotel, The Mining Exchange Hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn. For those not staying at a host hotel, shuttle stops during specific times will also include:
  • The city parking garage on the NE corner of Cascade Ave. and Bijou St
  • The Young Life parking lot (420 N. Cascade Ave.)
  • The School District 11 Administration Building and North Jr. High (1115 N. El Paso St.)
Please check the available parking times and shuttle information for updates.

There is very limited parking on downtown streets around campus. If you choose to park on the street, please follow all posted signs and pay the parking fees required. Limited ADA/accessible parking is available on campus. If you requested ADA parking in advance, please check with Registration Central when you arrive. We will also have a number of golf carts to assist with transporting guests around campus. For assistance, please contact homecoming@coloradocollege.edu.

Schedule of Events
Some event locations have changed! Please refer to the printed schedule of events you’ll receive at Registration Central for the most up-to-date times and locations. The final schedule can also be accessed online.

Building Access/Visitors to Residence Halls
Parents, family members, and guests should only be in the residence halls when accompanied by their host student. Each student is allowed up to two guests in the residence hall. Alumni are welcome to explore campus and reminisce about their time at CC, but may not enter any student residences on campus. All guests are reminded that masks are required at all times indoors on campus, except when actively eating or drinking.

Thank you for joining us for what promises to be an incredible weekend. We can't wait to welcome you to campus!
