(Franklin, Tenn) April 7, 2014 - The Americana Music Association announced today plans to produce the 2nd annual Cross-County Lines festival, presented by Nissan. It will be a one day celebration of roots inspired music, taking place on May 31, 2014 at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, TN. Americana stalwarts Patty Griffin and John Hiatt will co-headline the two stage, seven hour musical dayfest that will also feature Ashley Monroe, Brandy Clark, Parker Millsap, Joe Pug and Luther Dickinson.

This year's event is the follow-up to the 2013 inaugural fundraising event hosted by Jerry Douglas with Alison Krauss, Amos Lee and Shawn Colvin, to name a few. Americana's Cross-County Lines is intended to raise awareness and funds to support the not-for-profit association's mission: To advocate for the authentic voice of American roots music around the world.

AEG-TMG will co-produce the event, which starts at 4:3o PM. Doors will open at 3:3o PM. Tickets are $35 per person and will go on sale via Ticketmaster and The Franklin Theatre box office on Friday, April 11 at 10 AM CST. There will also be a Premier Patron VIP option available.

This will be the first major music event at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. It is located across the street from the Americana Music Association headquarters in Franklin's landmark Factory at Franklin building, which was originally built as a woodburning stove factory in 1929. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
