Calling all Relevant, Educational, & Creative Workshops
Greetings PTA Supporters,
Summer Leadership Seminar 2014 quickly approaches and our goal for SLS is to continue to provide top-notch training for our PTA leaders! As a leader, supporter, and subject matter expert, we invite YOU to submit a workshop proposal today!
What topics are we looking for? So glad you asked! During the 2013 General Evaluation, our leaders asked for more training opportunities on the following topics:
  • Involving and engaging teachers and school administration
  • Best practices for newsletters, social media, volunteer management, fundraisers, events, and other daily tasks and challenges facing PTA leaders
  • Taking the "scary" out of becoming a PTA leader
  • PTSA focused workshops
  • Workshops focused on Title 1 schools
  • Household diversity such as divorce, military deployment, and step-families
  • Finding, writing, and obtaining grants
  • Learning disabilities
  • Workshops focused on student leadership (Texas PTA offers a student registration fee!)
Don't see your topic above? That's ok, we still want to hear from you as we focus on finding new AND tried & true workshops every year!
To submit your workshop, please follow the link below. You'll be asked to create an account so that you can save your progress and return to the form later. Here's what you'll need as you submit your workshop:
