Erik Mittra, MD, PhD, will be the featured guest for CCF's new Luncheon with the Experts Facebook LIVE series on Thursday, July 16 from 12 noon to 1 pm, Eastern Time.


Dr. Erik Mittra will be the featured guest for Luncheon with the Experts
Dr. Mittra is Division Chief of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where he is also Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology, School of Medicine. Dr. Mittra is interested in all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging, therapy, and research. This includes adult and pediatric general nuclear medicine imaging with gamma camera and SPECT, PET imaging for oncology, cardiac, and neurologic applications, as well as bone densitometry (DXA imaging). Targeted Radioisotope Therapies (TRT), such as peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT), are of particular interest and he is a nationally-recognized expert in this area. His research focuses on the clinical translation of novel radioisotopes for imaging and therapy.
