Masterclasses are an opportunity for experienced TfT teachers to come together over Zoom in a short course format to deepen their TfT implementation.

2022 dates: July 12, 14, 19, 21

Teachers will leave the Masterclasses with:

  • a TfT implementation plan for the upcoming school year
  • a professional network beyond their school with other teachers in expertise area
  • a deeper understanding of TfT’s core and essential practices
  • a renewed enthusiasm for TfT living in their classrooms

Each Masterclass includes four 90-minute Zoom sessions (11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. CST) covering the following subjects:

  • Session 1: Deep Hope/Storyline
  • Session 2: Storyboards - Document Panels
  • Session 3: Throughlines
  • Session 4: Formational Learning Experiences

Pricing per school:

  • 1 teacher: $79
  • 2+ teachers from the same school: $69 each

Primary Classroom: Learning support | July 11, 13, 18, 20 (11 A.M. CST)
Beth Bleeker is a Kindergarten teacher at Sioux Center Christian School in Sioux Center, Iowa. While she has spent the past 15 years in the classroom guiding the youngest of learners towards finding their place in God's story, she has also been blessed with a husband and two children who all enjoy campfires, DIY projects, and helping with harvest in the fall.
Primary Classroom: Grades 6-12 English language arts | July 11, 13, 18, 20 (11 A.M. CST)
Pamela Zuidhof teaches 3rd Grade and is the assistant principal at Surrey Christian School in British Columbia, Canada. Pam loves being a creation enjoyer by exploring God’s beautiful creation while biking, hiking, camping, and kayaking.

Tim Leugs is the Instructional Leader, TfT Lead, and Science/Algebra teacher at Legacy Christian School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When he is not thinking about teaching and learning about being people of God’s Story, he enjoys woodworking, reading and summer camp, where he plays with campers, animals, and guitars.

Thor Benson is the Dean of Faculty and science teacher at Southwest Christian High School in Chaska, MN, where he loves engaging his storyline of ‘order, beauty, and chaos’ as faculty and students consider God’s work in creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. Thor is also a TfT school designer who has loved collaborating with schools in MN, IA, TX, and TN. When not talking about teaching and learning, Thor can be found coaching the high school lacrosse team, mountain biking, playing a lawn game, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Elizabeth Sabins is a Spanish teacher at Lansing Christian School in Lansing, Michigan. She has taught Spanish for 17 years in a variety of school settings and has been a TfT designer for two years. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Jessica DeWit is the Teaching for Transformation Director and Professional Development Coordinator at Sioux Falls Christian School, where her deepest hope is to empower others to live their part in God's story as part of a joyful TfT community. Before serving in her current role, Jessica taught choir, band, and other general music and fine arts classes for over 10 years. Outside of school she enjoys working on home projects and spending time with her husband Elliot and son Josiah.
