401(k) and 457 Voluntary Retirement Programs

The 401(k) and 457 are voluntary retirement programs for state employees. Empower, formerly Prudential, will explain the benefits of these programs. The webinar will highlight:

• Investment choices.
• The differences between the NC 401(k) and 457 plans.
• Pre-tax vs. Roth savings options.
• How to roll over funds from a previous employer’s retirement savings plan.

Health Care and Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Accounts

Come and learn about the benefits of health care and dependent day care flexible spending accounts. Participants will learn about the following and more:

• Eligible expenses for each spending account.
• The convenience card and filing claims.
• What happens to their accounts if they leave their jobs.
