• Evening of Style

  The Evening of Style is a fun-filled night of fashion, food and fellowship. Tables of eight decorate their dining table in a theme of choice and come dressed in attire to match.

• The Bash on Buffalo

  Presented by Global Direct Mail & Marketing, the 40th anniversary of the Bash on Buffalo was celebrated on April 6, 2024.

  
  

  Guests were entertained with onsite and remote bidding opportunities for the silent auction, an energetic live auction, delicious food, signature drinks, raffle prize, and more!  With generous support from our event sponsors and the Dowling Catholic community, we raised $117,000 towards the purchase of a new school activities bus to replace old bus number 5 - THANK YOU!  This bus benefits all students as it is used to transport students to extra curricular activities, retreats, and athletic events.  The new bus will offer upgrades in air conditioning, air brakes, seating capacity, and additional cargo storage for luggage and athletic equipment.

• Golf Outing

  Presented by Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines, the 45th Annual Dowling Golf Outing was held on August 7, 2023.

   

  We hosted 144 golfers and enjoyed a beautiful day at Terrace Hills Golf Course with food, drinks, contests, and prizes. With generous support from our golfers and event sponsors, we raised over $53,000 - THANK YOU! Funds raised support the Coppola Family Endowment Fund which has provided tuition assistance for DCHS students since the early 1970s.

• Grandparents Mass

  Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us for Grandparents Mass on September 28, 2023. 
  
  

  Grandparents were the guests of honor during this annual celebration and had the opportunity to visit campus, hear from student and faculty speakers, and celebrate Mass with their grandchildren.

• Pancake Breakfast

  The 62nd Annual Pancake Breakfast was held on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Funds raised will support the NEW Student Activities Endowment which will create an opportunity for students to form new DCHS clubs as well as offer enhancements to the clubs already in existence.

• Christmas Luncheon

  The Christmas Luncheon was held on December 7, 2023 at Glen Oaks Golf & Country Club. This event is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas and the Dowling Catholic community with a wonderful lunch, special guest speakers and entertainment from student musicians and vocalists. A great way to start the season of Advent.
