Wolfpack Will Host First Two Rounds of NCAA Tournament as No. 3 Seed in Portland 4 Region

RALEIGH – NC State women's basketball will open its 29th appearance in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament at home as it earned the No. 3 seed in the Portland 4 region.

The Wolfpack will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament in Raleigh. NC State opens 2024 tournament action on Saturday, March 23 when it takes on 14th-seeded Chattanooga. Saturday's winner will take on the winner of the game between sixth-seeded Tennessee and 11th-seeded Green Bay on Monday, March 25.

The victor in that second-round matchup will head to Portland, Ore., for regional action from March 29-31. The Final Four will be contested in Cleveland, Ohio, the weekend of April 5-7.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Saturday, March 23: Tennessee vs. Green Bay (12 PM, ESPN)
Saturday, March 23: NC State vs. Chattanooga (2:30 PM, ESPNU)
Monday, March 25: Saturday winners (time and TV TBA)

TICKET INFO:
All-session books for the first and second rounds are available now to Wolfpack Club members and season ticket holders. Those fans can secure tickets on their GoPack.com account or by contacting the ticket office.

Single-session tickets will also become available to Wolfpack Club members and season ticket holders on Sunday. All-session books and single-session tickets will be made available to the general public on Monday, March 18 at 5 p.m.

Students can log in to their GoPack.com account to put in a request for first and/or second round tickets.

FAN INFO:
Parking for the general public will be available in the Coliseum Deck. Season ticket holder parking permits are NOT valid for this event. Limited handicap parking will be available in Jeter Bays on game days.

Wolfpack fans are encouraged to bring their red light batons to cheer on the Pack.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY:
​​The Wolfpack has been selected to compete in the NCAA Tournament seven times in a row. That is tied as the longest such streak for the team alongside seven-straight appearances from 1995 through 2001.

This is the fourth time in the Moore era that NC State has hosted the opening games of the NCAA Tournament. The Wolfpack has played a total of 19 of its NCAA Tournament games in Raleigh throughout program history, is 17-2 in those contests and has not lost such a game since 1983.
