According to Merriam-Webster, an advocate is "one who supports or promotes the interests of a cause or group." What does advocacy look like for you?

Join us as we gather with local leaders to learn more about political advocacy and how to engage with the political process. Learn how to use your knowledge, skills, and talents to be an advocate. Dinner will start at 5:30 and spaces are limited, so please be sure to RSVP via Engage here: https://uthsc.campuslabs.com/engage/event/8492136! Our panel discussion will be from 6 – 8 pm in GEB A104. This will serve as an Intensive credit on the Social Determinants of Health Co-Curricular Certificate, but you don't need to be enrolled in the certificate to participate.

This intensive is not promoting or endorsing any candidate, position, or policy, nor is participation in this workshop to be construed as such. Participation is open to any student, faculty, or staff at UTHSC.
