According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2023/24 marketing year totaled 18.7 MMT, sitting 1% ahead of last year’s pace. Total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2024/25 marketing year totaled 1.7 MMT, sitting 119% ahead of last year’s pace.
Net sales of 371,858 MT for 2024/2025 were primarily for Philippines (82,000 MT), unknown destinations (65,000 MT), South Korea (50,000 MT), Mexico (35,100 MT), and Japan (34,300 MT).
USDA forecasts 2023/24 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to total 19.3 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 97% of total projected exports.
