Alana Springsteen Packages the Feelings of Love, Loss and Everything in Between in New EP “History of Breaking Up (Part One)” – Exclusive

Falling in love, breaking up and the gray area in between is a tale as old as time. While these experiences and the emotions that follow may be nothing new, Alana Springsteen has given fans some music to perfectly accompany these well-known stages by releasing a new EP, History of Breaking Up (Part One).

In her freshly released EP, Springsteen perfectly packages up every stage of a relationship and delivers them via an incredible seven-track project. Each song gives listeners an anthem for every kind of romance-caused emotion; and while the tunes on the track list each offer a little something different, they all share the same quality of being absolutely addicting.

Fans have already come to know and love “Zero Trucks,” “California” and Springsteen’s epic duet with Roman Alexander, “Trying Not To” off the EP, but with four new songs to add to the list, each listener can totally vibe with each track regardless of whether or not they are in love.

In an exclusive interview with Celeb Secrets, Springsteen shared with us that the way in which she feels about heartbreak has helped fuel such passionate music.

“…Maybe it’s just the romantic in me who just sees the beauty in everything,” said Springsteen. “I’m the kind of person that sadness is beautiful to me sometimes, that’s just me through and through. I love all the emotions — not necessarily in the moment your going through it — but when you look back, or at least for me on my journey, all the highs and lows and things that crushed me and I thought were gonna be the worst thing that ever happened to me — you look back a year later and sometimes you end up being so thankful for it because it’s just part of your journey..”

While Springsteen has become well-known for dishing out methodical melodies that make for a great listen, she also has released some incredible music videos. She shared with us that she isn’t done providing fans with videos to match the music.

“The whole visual aspect has always been so important to me. I love the story that you can tell with all of that and you can definitely expect some more visual pieces to go along with these songs,” she says. “I really feel that it just brings a whole new life to the song and I love giving fans that perspective.”
