Brown, who is active on social media, frequently posts about his Country music career and gives fans a look into what life is like at home with his wife, Katelyn, and his baby daughter, Kingsley.

Brown fills us in on the daily shenanigans that are happening in the “Brown household” and says that his wife did in fact accept his apology after scaring her while wearing an E.T. costume. He adds, “she says she’s still gonna get me back, so I’ve been waiting.”

The “Worship You” singer says that being home has been fantastic in terms of getting an abundance of time with his family, but the stark contrast from working every day to being off the road for over a year has proved difficult, explains Kane.

However, Brown says, “we’ve started getting busy now though because we’re working on that album, so I’ve been in the studio and I’ve been writing, so it’s been getting back to a little hectic, which we like.”

This past year has been “a lot harder” when it comes to songwriting for Kane. “You’re not going out and having conversations with people so you can’t really get the ideas,” Brown notes when it comes to finding inspiration for lyrics. “That’s how I used to get a lot of my ideas, just having conversations and people would say stuff that you normally wouldn’t think to write down if you’re not a writer. Usually, every time someone would say something I’d be like ‘yeah that’s a hook right there’ and write it down in my phone and I’m not getting that anymore.”

Aside from seeking inspiration for music amidst the pandemic and working on an upcoming album, Kane has been actively involved with The Boys and Girls Club of America. He shares that from the first time he connected with kids who were part of the Boys and Girls Club he saw himself in them.

In partnership with Lowe’s and the celebration of the company’s 100th birthday, Kane is gearing up to fix up the Boys and Girls Club located in his hometown of Chattanooga, for Lowe’s 100 Hometowns campaign.
