CHAPTER HISTORICAL NOTE:
Chapter 6,
Qualifications of Superintendents or Operators of Public Water Supply Systems,
Water Treatment Plants and Sewage Treatment Plants was adopted January 7, 1969,
and became effective October 1, 1969.
Chapter 6, Qualifications of
Superintendents or Operators of Public Water Supply Systems, Water Treatment
Plants and Sewage Treatment Plants, was repealed by R.2001 d.18, effective
January 2, 2001. See: 32 N.J.R. 3367(a), 33 N.J.R. 45(c).
Chapter
6, Smoke-Free Air, was adopted as new rules by R.2007 d.170, effective May 21,
2007. See: 38 N.J.R. 1925(a), 38 N.J.R. 3095(a), 39 N.J.R. 2027(a).
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14B-5.1b, Chapter 6, Smoke-Free
Air, was scheduled to expire on May 21, 2014. See: 43 N.J.R. 1203(a).
Chapter 6, Smoke-Free Air, was readopted as R.2014 d.189,
effective November 14, 2014. As a part of R.2014 d.189, chapter Appendices H,
I, and J were repealed and adopted as new rules, effective December 15, 2014.

In accordance with
N.J.S.A.
52:14B-5.1, Chapter 6, Smoke-Free Air, was
scheduled to expire on November 14, 2021. Pursuant to Executive Order Nos. 127
(2020) and 244 (2021) and
P.L.
2021, c. 103, any
chapter of the New Jersey Administrative Code that would otherwise have expired
during the Public Health Emergency originally declared in Executive Order No.
103 (2020) is extended through January 1, 2022. Chapter 6, Smoke-Free Air, was
readopted with technical changes, effective November 30, 2021. See: Source and
