Romantically-charged hitmaker Dylan Scott distills the soulful base elements from his hooky track “Nobody” in a new “stripped” music video.

Featuring the Louisiana native’s inviting drawl and his full band, the clip doesn’t present the heartfelt track acoustically – it’s more like an intimate back-to-basics rendition which shows off the song’s solid foundation, no bells or whistles necessary. That happens to work really well for the piano based “Nobody,” which is a classically minded soulmate’s ballad of eternal dedication.

“I’m gonna love you till the good Lord, comes back for me and you / Girl nobody, nobody, nobody, is gonna love you like I do,” Scott sings in the chorus.

It’s a powerful message of never-ending love, and one that will probably take on a secondary meaning for Scott going forward. He and his wife Blair recently found out they’ll be welcoming a baby girl to the family in a few months.

“Nobody” is just the latest of Scott’s tracks to receive the “stripped” treatment, as the singer previously unpacked his Platinum-certified No.1 breakout “My Girl” and more. It’s also part of his just-released Nothing to Do Town EP, which features six new songs including the title track – Scott’s current single – and fans can catch him on tour from coast to coast and into Canada this summer.
