Grammy-nominated country star Kelsea Ballerini dimmed the lights on the Late Night stage for a slow-jam take of her latest single, “I Hate Love Songs,” on Wednesday night (Aug. 1). Ballerini, dowsed in soft pink and purple stage lights, stood front and center with a white grand piano at her back during the dreamy performance.
With great control and tasteful falsetto, Ballerini’s sang sassy lines including “Your eyes can’t hold stars and you’d die if your heart really skipped,” and “We were drunk when we met so we don’t know our anniversary, woops.”
