Application for GIPPC's Resetting the Table on Urban-Rural Divides in our Faith Communities
The Georgia Interfaith Public Policy Center -- in conjunction with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta and Resetting the Table – is creating a unique opportunity to bring faith leaders together from rural and urban settings to a common table for skill-building, learning, and discussion across denominational and political differences.

The polarization of politics has been showing up in our places of worship and creating real and sustained challenges for our faith communities -- in congregations and across larger organizational structures. Resetting the Table’s sought-after workshop provides religious leaders with tools to enable their communities to listen and speak across differences with honesty, dignity, and grace. This program will provide participants with road-tested exercises they can bring back to their own institutions as well as a chance to experience and model rich dialogue across differences within our own group.

The application below is for a workshop consisting of two sessions set for June 9 and 16. Our questions below are open-ended but we ask that you be as honest and open as possible so that we can have a good mix of backgrounds and perspectives in this group.  This group will be curated and selected based on the best fit and needs of the program. Please contact Carole Maddux at info@gippc.org or Leslie Anderson at info@jcrcatlanta.org with any questions or concerns. Please share this opportunity with other clergy.

Resetting the Table’s toolkit has helped equip thousands of faith leaders to build healing communication across differences across the country.
