Exciting News! We’re happy to share that we won the "Best Demo" award at the IEEE World Haptics Conference in Delft, Netherlands! The 32 actuator array shown is the size of your fingertip and can imprint shape onto your skin like displaying pixels on a screen. Hands-on demos are the real litmus test of haptic technologies, and this is a proud moment for my co-founder, Craig Shultz, and myself to be recognized by the experts in the field on the largest stage for haptics. Craig and I have built a lot of things together, but this is something special. This work was developed at Carnegie Mellon University with Chris Harrison, and is licensed and spun out into our startup company, Fluid Reality. A huge thank you to our supporters, and our collaborators - this wouldn't have been possible without you. For everyone who asked at the conference - We’re looking forward to getting hardware in your hands, keep in touch. The world of haptics is vast and unexplored - and we're just getting started! 🚀 #haptics #innovation #technology
