Through Festival-wide balloting, HIFF audiences will select their favorite films in three categories:
- Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature Film
- Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature Film
- Audience Award for Best Short Film
How to vote:
As you enter each screening at HIFF31*, you will be handed a slip of paper with a QR code that corresponds to the film(s) you are about to see. After the screening, point your phone at the QR code on the slip of paper; a link will open where you can share your thoughts with us.
The HIFF staff will tabulate the votes, and the winners will be announced at the end of the Festival.
Past Audience Award winners include LA LA LAND, PHILOMENA, THE TWO POPES, OLIVER SACKS: HIS OWN LIFE, THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM, I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO, ROOM, and THE IMITATION GAME.
